Mid-year's resolution
I made a mid-year's resolution to actually start using my LJ though I fear how long that will last, since I rarely have the time for that and generally feel stupid writing stuff that probably no one cares about anyway. But the resolution is made.

So today's news is that it's barely 10 am and it's already 30 degrees Celsius outside. I got lucky I finished my outdoors business early or I'd fry my brain otherwise, and I do sometimes need it.

I also decided some time ago that I'll take part in the third round of hd_inspired so I've picked my top three choices and am now waiting for the time to post those. Hopefully I'll get my first choice, but the second and third are still great. I don't expect much of competition for the type of prompts I like, I'll be (pleasantly) surprised if someone else joins me into claiming the same type. Which is kind of good I guess, but still, it's first come, first serve, so I'd better be safe than sorry.
